Our trip with Irvin was wonderful! We fit so many activities into one experience. Visiting the family-owned rug shop was incredibly special, and the market tour was one of the loveliest we've been on in Mexico. We even got to meet Irvin's family, which made the tour feel extra personal. Irvin was an incredible host and guide. We would definitely recommend!

I had a great day with Irvin, he was super passionate and knowledgeable about the area, his people and Zapotec history. We covered traditional rug making techniques with a lovely welcoming family, then took a tour around the massive market Tlacolula, where we tried a huge variety of wild and wonderful things to eat, and then mezcal making process and tasting, finishing with a quick ride around his home town with its wonderful ruins. The tour was structured but relaxed and we changed our plans slightly to aid my hunger, and stopped to accommodate things such as unexpected mole festival! Thank you for a great day!

We had an amazing experience with Irvin. He was punctual and kindly tailored the experience to our schedule. He is truly passionate about his work and we had such a wonderful time experiencing the different magical aspects of Oaxaca - learning more about textile making, mezcal production, a visit to the Mercado to try authetic and traditional Oaxacan dishes. I would highly recommend this tour and we would love to go on another tour with Irvin again if we get the chance to visit Oaxaca again.
